Why beef collagen?
- No dairy: collagen comes from beef, not milk, so there's no whey, casein or lactose
- No beef taste: it's flavorless and blends right into the batter
- Works with whole grains: it pairs with organic whole wheat and wheat protein isolate to reach 16g of protein per cup
Is collagen a complete protein?
On its own, no. Collagen is missing tryptophan, one of the nine essential amino acids. That's why we don't rely on it alone. In our pancakes, collagen is paired with organic whole wheat and wheat protein isolate, which supply tryptophan, so the blend contains all nine essential amino acids.
